I am looking forward to nice weather and tackling some of the things on my to do list…
One of the first projects is helping my dear friend Denise tackle her studio space this coming week. It is a large 20×20 converted garage that has been sheet rocked, insulated and heated. It has 2 nice sized windows, an entrance of it’s own and lots of space. For weeks we have been planning, dreaming and scheming how best to put this plan into action. This is a room that has been last on the list of projects to tackle for a few years, it is full of outdated products, everyone else’s stuff, sports equipment and so forth. But as of Monday morning it will be a blank slate and will begin the transformation to becoming a space full of {STYLE & FUNCTION}. We do get to work with some of the mechanics of the house that have to stay put, but in the end this space will be Denise’s retreat!

Denise does lots of community service projects such as helping brides with invitations, creating favors for retreats, decorations for banquets & events and so much more. She is often gathering supplies in bulk and we needed lots of shelves and boxes to store these items. Our first storage solution was to order 100 of 2 sizes of these boxes from ULINE.
….and then embellish them with these custom labels.
Can’t wait to show it to you all finished in a pretty palette of aqua, pink, brown & white. Stay tuned for the final reveal.
We are still working on the studio…..when doing a big project like this I think that things always seem to take longer than we anticipate. But we are getting there. It will be at least a couple more weeks as we still have to fit life in around this project!
