This last Saturday I got to teach 4 amazing gals that came to visit my in home studio & create the Holiday Shadowboxes I released in December. It was so incredible to see how everyone’s turned out.
They all receive a printable of the Holiday Shadowbox pdf and the directions to refer to or use later to recreate the project. But best of all by attending the studio workshop they got to choose supplies to create their shadowboxes from all these goodies…
In the studio there were all sorts of paints, glitter, beads, ribbons, trims, twines, vintage sheet music, holiday florals, bells and more set up. As they built their shadowbox they could gather the treasures they needed.
Each box was so different, each tree unique and full of their personality. Tanya created an adorable swag across the back of her box, used a doily as a rug on the floor of the box and framed a vintage Santa photo to hang on the back wall.
Cathy’s box featured faux wood planked floors complete with little nail holes. A spool as the base of her tree, jingle bell and bead feet and a wish list for a cruise to Alaska! She also used a piece of sheet music from her childhood. How sweet is that?
I loved Sarah’s touches of black mixed with the bright red and green in her box! Her garland had a cute heart button adorning it. I love the mini vintage ornaments she found to hang from the top of her box.
Tracy’s shadowbox was so sweet, full of pinks and browns sparkling with gold and silver. I loved her handcrafted wreath and pink vintage ornament wrapped in silver.
My studio workshops and studio to studio kits are designed to allow you to personalize and add your own treasures & trinkets to make your project unique to you. Each person brought a little stash of goodies, we shared, we laughed & visited, we created and enJOYed the time together. Thanks Tanya, Cathy, Sarah & Tracy for a great evening!
Stay tuned for the announcement of a new Studio to Studio project later this week!
