This last week I was busy working on a small tree for Hermiston’s Festival of Trees to raise money for a local children’s charity. I was the designer for 2 of my favorite local artists and businesses.

Defining Details Photography & Blueberry Silver

Brilliant colors of red, lime, aqua and tangerine combined with vintage charm burst from the branches of the unique flocked twig tree. Vintage inspired frames hang among the ornaments. At the tip-top of this tree is a glimmering star that combines a mixture of that vintage charm & bold brightness that adorns the branches! (photo’s by Shannon at Defining Details) Thanks Shannon!

Many of the ornaments were altered with Martha Stewart Flocking to give it that Merry & Bright feel. Some were found at stores like TJ Maxx and Home Goods. Many of the items I altered were from Michaels and Hobby Lobby. The flocked twig tree was totally unique and was found at Heritage Home Accents and Floral.

It was such a fun experience and I loved shopping for all the goodies and so thrilled that the vision of the tree came to life! It was a great night out celebrating with friends and yummy food too!
